On April 14, 2016 (4 years ago), Japan’s Kyushu Island in Kumamoto Prefecture was severely struck by a huge earthquake. Many people were at huge loss aftermath, but thanks to these clever "Box Beds", at least the disaster survivors had spent some good nights of sleep.These creative paper beds were invented by J Pack, a smart-thinking Japanese paper manufacturer. They were first introduced to the alive victims of Japan’s Tohuku earthquake back in 2011 and then they became useful again 5 years later to help the sufferers in Kumamoto.
