According to Sunil Shah, managing director (MD) of Aryan Paper: “Each bed costs around Rs 1,000 (equivalent to 300,000 VND), excluding shipping costs. However, transportation costs are also quite economical because the components of this bed can be disassembled and stacked neatly in the truck. They can be assembled without any support from nails, glue, or tools."
“If we had to buy a metal bed (the cheapest bed available on the market), it would cost us around Rs 3,500 or more. The paper beds are a third the cost and they can be easily carried upstairs.”
Besides, after using, carton paper beds can be easily recycled and reused in an environmentally friendly manner. The drawback of corrugated paper beds is that they do not have wheels, so they are used in a fixed position and are not applied to emergent occasions.
