As one of five Vietnamese enterprises selected to participate in Samsung's project in the Southern region, Khang Thanh packaging company has made many positive changes in the past two months (from August 13, 2018 - October 19, 2018).

Everything starts from positive thinking
In an organization can be divided into 3 groups:20% have positive thoughts
60% are easy to change between positive and negative and the remaining
20% have negative thoughts.
These are shared by Mr. Kim Ju Kyum - Production Improvement Specialist, belonging to Samsung Electronics Korea, in an improvement training session.
During the consultation section, Mr. Jukyum Kim constantly emphasized the importance of positive thinking and willingness to change. Taking the example of the "Han River Miracle" from Korea after the Korean War, Korea's "dragonize" road is considered a lesson for many countries around the world. All breakthrough changes start from thinking to change positively.
Mr. Kim expressed his expectation on a team of employees who actively learn and work, both in terms of knowledge and skills to implement innovative projects and professional ethics to meet for development goals.

Previously, in the sharing session with Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh - Deputy Director of Khang Thanh, said that to become a potential candidate in the training project of Samsung and the Ministry of Industry and Trade is a non-stop effort of all members. Therefore, when participating in Samsung's supply chain, this will be a stepping stone to help Khang Thanh to have improvement and innovation in people and production.
Improvements and management: Like a boat on reverse water, not going forward means going backward
The program is a combination of theoretical training and practical application at the factory, divided into 3 phases:
- Phase 1: Survey, evaluate the operation and business situation;
- Phase 2: Training, consulting on production innovation, quality and goods circulation (5S3D, Production, QC and Logistic);
- Stage 3: Application and practice in the factory environment.

In parallel with the training and consultancy from the consultant and expert team, Khang Thanh team has many significant changes in the reporting results every week
To change thinking and improve production, there is a lot of determination, effort and sacrifice of all members in the collective. Improvements are like learning, just like a boat on a reverse water, if it’s not going forward, it will be going backward.

Participating in Samsung's innovative consultancy program, Khang Thanh company has achieved remarkable achievements. All employees of the company carry out 5S3R activities daily, re-check the working environment, show the factory status every week.

Sharing thoughts after 8 weeks of being a quality improvement expert, Mr. Baek Jong Rok said: "Before coming to Khang Thanh, I had instructed 18 Vietnamese enterprises. The second day came here, I saw you had a new slogan “Change the Chance”.
"I want to say that you have to change together. I believe Khang Thanh will grow further. As the company grows, the more you grow, the more you will be recognized and you will acknowledge people around you. I look forward to seeing those happy images.”

Mr. Kim Ju Kyum awarded to individuals and collectives who have made great efforts in 60 days of improvement
Mr. Kim Ju Kyum, a production improvement expert who guided Khang Thanh in this program, saying: "Through this project, I think this is a good opportunity for Khang Thanh as well as the consultant group to approach thinking and innovation process system of the world's leading electronics company Samsung. "
These initial achievements will be an important foundation in the development process, improving the company's capacity in the next time. At the end of this year, Khang Thanh will put the second factory into operation in Amata Industrial Park (Dong Nai), to expand production to better meet the requirements from FDI enterprises, which may be Samsung.
